THE ORIENTAL LOQUAT ( NISPERO ORIENTAL ) OR  ERIOBOTRYA JAPONICA USED FOR THE FIRST BIONIC DANCES, WAS FOUND ABANDONED IN A CENTRAL STREET IN MADRID, CLOSE TO TO A GARBAGE DUMP.

ARTIST HONEVO RECUPERATED IT,  AND TOOK CARE FOR THIS TREE FOR TWO YEARS BEFORE IT WAS ABLE TO PERFORM. AT THE END OF 2014 -BEGINNING OF 2015, THE SECOND TIME IT FLOURISHED AFTER PARTIALLY RECOVERING FROM IT´S ILNESS, THE TREE WAS ABLE TO PERFORM.

FLAMENCO PROFESSIONAL DANCERS SARA PEREZ AND CARLOS SANCHO NADAL DANCED WITH THE ERIOBOTRYA JAPONICA AT MADPHOTO SCHOOL IN MADRID ON FEBRUARY 2015.

IT STILL HAS A FUNGEE DISEASE, AND A BRANCH WITHOUT CIRCULATION, BUT WHEN THE DANCERS EXPERIENCE WITH THE ORIENTAL LOQUAT,  VERY SMALL LOQUATS WERE ALREADY MATURATING.

LATER, THE PROJECT WAS PUBLICLY PRESENTED IN THE VERNISSAGE OF THE BIONIC PHOTO EXHIBITION IN MADPHOTO GALLERY OF ARTIST HONEVO AT THE END OF MAY 2015. FLAMENCO DANCER TAMARA PINA AJO MADE A LIVE IMPROVISATION OF BIONIC DANCE WITH THE ORIENTAL LOQUAT.
